1. Get to know yourself better, including your interests, likes, and dislikes. Sometimes we struggle when it comes to doing this. But it is possible to get to know YOU better.
2. Figure out what's important to you, including your beliefs, values, and goals. These three elements have been the driving forces that have molded you into the person you are today. They play a major role in the decisions you make from day to day and they influence your perspective. You are where you are in your life today because of your beliefs, values, and goals.
3. Take some time for yourself. Spend time with you to learn more about who you are without outside pressure and influence. The only way you can find out who you truly are is by taking the time to get away from everything and everybody and just do you!!! This has a very positive benefit as it actually can improve your physical and mental health.
4. Try new things; you might not enjoy everything, but each challenge is a learning experience. And who knows, trying new things may help you discover things about YOU that you never knew!!!! Get excited!!! It may help you find out more about who you really are, what you like, and dislike!
5. Learn how to trust yourself. You are your own best friend. No one knows you like you.
6. Build greater self-awareness by practicing mindfulness. Tune out distractions and be mentally present.
These six steps are just the beginning of your journey to living your best life. And it is totally normal if you discover that you need help with a few of these steps. A life of wellness and restoration is waiting on you!!!!! I believe in you!!!
